All parents love their kids and work hard at parenting.  You may have very little, (or no) support or mentoring.  You try to improve your skills by consulting "professional" books and articles, or friends who have the same problems and questions. Lorri has been married to Rick for 36 years and has been a parent for over 26 years. They live, work and play in the central district of Seattle.

In addition to spending time with friends and families and their children, she has worked with kids in many different situations; infant and childcare, youth camping director, youth and teen mentor, innercity multi-racial children's  program director, children's drama and musical director, nanny, and preschool teacher.
